Mel Mathay withdrawing?not true!

The rumors are not true. Mel Mathay is not backing out.
According to the newspaper that i read today, the speculations that he is withdrawing from the race for the mayoralty of Quezon City just part of a black propaganda campaign being wages by his competitors. According to the newspaper (People's journal) Mel mathay said that results of several surveys, both independent and private;y - commissioned, show him to be in second position behind Herbert Bautista.
He also said that Quezon City is facing serious problems. What the city and the people of Quezon City need are not lieas and mudslinging but real solutions and genuine leadership.
Obviously these rumors are being spread to confuse the people. But we the people of Quezon city are bright and smart, we will not be fooled by this lieas and this speculations.
We know the problems here in Quezon City and he know that what we need is solution not popularity and promises but actions.
We need a LEADER that will focus on what can he do to his city and his people not SOMEONE who focuses on making black propagandas and cannot maintain a healthy competition...
What do you think?

Simple Gesture goes a long way...

Today, me and my journalist friend went to St. Peter church in commonwealth, we attended a forum featuring the mayoral candidates of Quezon City, the title is Pasya sa Pamilya, basically the topic is about family life and following the norms of the church. Vice mayor Herbert Bautista is not there, Annie Susano is absent too. Mel Mathay, Mike Defensor and Vice Mayor candidate Janet Malaya is there to participate. It's just a short forum, less than 45 minutes. There are only 4 question for each candidate i believe. They all answered the questions according to their perception. But they all good answers.
After the question and answer portion Bishop Tobias took over and did a wonderful speech. I saw my friend on the corner where Mel Mathay is sitting, we talked about the questions and the answers of the candidates of course. I was about to leave and i wanted to shake the hand of the mayoral candidates. I approached Mr. Mel Mathay and he stand up and i shook his hand...It was a very good gesture, because he did stand up on his sit to shook my hand. I was embarrassed but again it was a good gesture. I was not able to approach Mike Defensor because there are a lot of people around him. Mel Mathay is very warm in meeting his potential voters. I was really touched by the gesture and i really appreciated it.
For those voters out there...try to attend this kind of forums or if a mayoral candidate visit your street or baranggay, try to approach them coz' you'll know from that moment if they are the leader you can depend on. A simple act or gesture speaks a lot of words. No written platform or a long memorized speech can beat that, because once you caught them off guard, that's the real them..try it and you'll see...

Too much Bistek!

A plunder case involving more than P106 million worth of public funds allegedly used on questionable food purchases was filed yesterday against Quezon City vice Mayor Hervert bautista before of the Office of the Ombudsman.
According to the newspaper i read, it was clear that the food purchases did not undergo the necessary bidding procedures as required by law. The complainant mr. Nicanor Salameda of Payatas said that there were even instances when Bautista circumvented the law by avoiding the bidding.
City Hall documents showed that almost "daily" food purchases amounting to amost 19,ooo pesos are made by bautista. Herbert Bautista made it appear that the transactions were "negotiated" contracts where were only possible when there is "immenent danger to life or property" like the occurrence of typhoons.
However, Salameda said there were no typhoons when Herbert bautista made the transactions.
"Quezon City has not beedn declared under state of calamity, or there is no known calamity that beset the city that would justify the procurement through negotiated contract. Salameda Said.

I like pulp in my Fiction!

I watched pulp fiction (again!) yesterday and it never fails to entertain me...
i love the characters and how the actor portrayedthe roles
My favorite charter inb the story is of course, Mia Wallace...
she is so much fun!! and i love her!!!
She may be a coke head...but she rocks...
I love the scene where in she excused herself to go to the ladies to room to powder her node..\
yeah..she powdered her nose...right?

Movie trivia!!
enjoy!
Jules' "Bad Motherf**ker" wallet actually belongs to Quentin Tarantino. The red convertible also belonged to Quentin, but it was stolen.

Every time you see a pack of cigarettes, it's the same brand: Red Apple.

The clocks in the pawnshop are set to 4:20. It is a widely acknowledged misconception that all of the clocks in the film are set to this time.

Mia calls Vincent "cowboy," and Vincent calls Mia "cowgirl" in return. John Travolta and Uma Thurman starred in "Urban Cowboy" and "Even Cowgirls Get the Blues," respectively.

Vincent was originally supposed to have shot Marvin twice - once accidentally in the throat, and the second to put him out of his misery; Quentin Tarantino changed it to a single-bullet killing, because he thought it would be funnier.

The passage from the Bible that Jules has memorized was mostly made up by Quentin Tarantino and Samuel L. Jackson. The only part that's similar to what the Bible says is the part where he says, "And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger. And you will know My name is the Lord when I lay My vengeance upon thee." However, the parts about the righteous man and the shepherd are not real.

Mia Wallace's television pilot involved a team of 5 female secret agents (including a blond woman, an African-American woman, and a Japanese woman). Uma Thurman's next picture with Tarantino would be Kill Bill, where she was part of a team of 5 assassins (4 of which were female and, besides her, consisted of a blond woman, and African-American woman, and a half-Japanese-half-Chinese-American woman). The French Sophie character may have also been a part of the team of assassins, making it 5. Mia's pilot character's specialty was knives. The Bride's first kill in Kill Bill: Vol. 1 (2003) was with a knife.

I saw this picture in a certain Blogspot...
the writer asked the people to comment on this article...it's simply asking which one of these 3 mayoral candidates will win on May 10....
there are positive and negative responses from different people...
Some are for Mike Defensor...some for Bistek and some for annie susano..
there are opinions....harsh opinions...nice opinions...neutral opinions...

How about the right of the QC people to give their thoughts about Mel Mathay?

Is it an accident that he was left?

I see I saw...

QC mayoral bet Mike Defensor yesterday backed Pulse Asia for denying results of a survey which showed his comedian rival vice mayor Herbert ‘Bistek’ Bautista leading him by 6 points.
Recent published reports said a Pulse Asia February 15 survey reflected a 42.5% preference rating for Bautista against Defensor’s 36.4%
Defensor said he was glad that Pulse Asia president Ronald Homes personally denied that the firm conducted and released the survey.
“I myself was doubtful on the results of the survey because I don’t believe that my comedian rival is leading,” Defensor said.

Bakit sila lang ang showcase ng survey?dba may iba pang mga candidates like and Annie Susano and Mel Mathay?
Sana sa next Survey kung magkakarron pa makita ko naman sila dba?
para FAIR>>>Tama?Apir!
