Mathay health plan for QC

NDEPENDENT QUEZON CITY mayoral bet Mel Mathay Jr. vowed to upgrade the city’s health care program, saying residents can look forward to more benefits when he returns to his former post.

A health card works best with a system in place.

“My opponents keep on saying that it’s just a matter of realigning the budget and giving away cards, but it is not as simple as that. We first need to create a health program designed specifically for Quezon City,” he said.

“We also need to improve the quality of our public hospitals and enter into a mutually beneficial agreement with private medical institutions as well. Because no matter how good the system is, if the accredited hospitals are lacking in facilities, these cards will just be a useless piece of paper.”

“We already have the Quezon City General Hospital in the 1st district, we can partner with FEU-NMRF Medical Center for the 2nd district, the Quirino Medical Center for the 3rd district, and East Avenue Medical Center for the 4th district,” Mathay noted.

“With the right system in place we could even revive the medical assistance program at St. Luke’s Hospital, which is one of the best in the country.”

Blogger's event by Mel Mathay

Last April 30 me and mt friends attended a bloggers dinner at the residence of Mel Mathay at Green Meadows QC, the dinner started at 8 pm. The food was good and decent, we are very well attended by the family of Mel Mathay. They are very accomodating and they welcomed us in their home warmly. After the nice dinner, Mr. Mel Mathay started the program.. He shook our hands and thanking us for coming. A Q&A video was shown, after that Mr. Mel Mathay gave a short speech. No fuss we went straight to Q and A. Mr. Mathay welcomed all our questions. He answered all the questions honestly. There are some "delicate" Questions about Herbert Bautista and Mike defensor but he handled the question very well..."walang siraan". Many of the bloggers ask him about his platform and what are his plans if he is elected mayor of QC again. He kicked some humorous answers that made us laugh. We went home around 1030 pm. It was quite late but it was worth it. Honestly i enjoyed the night because we really felt that we are welcome. The good wife of Mel Mathay is very nice and Pretty . The only bad thing that happened that night is i got lost in green meadows. it was embarrasing but at the end i finally found the 3rd gate. I t was worth spending my time.
Thanks for the nice food!
